The Old Exchange, the Hall Baird office in Castle Douglas

A building made for conversation

No stranger to opening lines of communication.

The Old Exchange was built in the 1930s as a telephone repeater station. Many calls between the Stewartry and London were reportedly routed through it, and during the Second World War it carried calls between London and Belfast too.

Today it is where we meet our clients, because communication is the key to any good client relationship.
